Typography: Typography Convention

For this project, I designed a Typography Conference poster based in Caracas Venezuela. The overall style of the typography was made to mimic a famous mural painted on the sides of the hillside-stacked building in Caracas. I leaned into the idea of the stacked homes and the negative space between them that was not painted in the mural. For my body copy, I continued with this interconnected stacking and made the treatment of weight mimic the home's windows and doors. For my mockups, I created badges for general admission, volunteers, and speakers and a tee shirt.
